Confirmation preparation guides Christians to a closer relationship with Christ and a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit, fostering a connection to both the universal and parish community. The sacrament of Confirmation strengthens the baptized individual with the Holy Spirit for service to the Body of Christ. At St. Julie's, we strive to nurture this sense of belonging in our youth, with programs developed to ignite wisdom, curiosity, and faith. Your active involvement is key to building a nurturing Christian environment for your children, encouraging them to flourish in every aspect of life.
“Preparation for Confirmation should aim at leading the Christian toward a more intimate union with Christ and a more lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit- his actions, his gifts, and his biddings-in order to be more capable of assuming the apostolic responsibilities of Christian life. To this end
catechesis for Confirmation should strive to awaken a sense of belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ, the universal Church as well as the parish community. The latter bears special responsibility for the preparation of confirmands.”
-The Catechism of the Catholic Church: 1309

As mentioned in the quote above, St. Julie's aim for each student in our confirmation program is to “awaken the senses of belonging” to our Church as a whole! As the Youth Minister, it is my responsibility to develop a program that gives our young people the wisdom, curiosity, courage, and faith to discover who they are meant to become in this life.
Of course, I can’t do this alone…
I’m honored to have a special group of trained Catechists who will provide sound Catholic teaching, testimony, mentorship, and support for our confirmation students.
Promoting and Living Christian Life and Culture
We will provide every opportunity for your child’s success centered around building and promoting a strong Christian life and culture.
We aim to foster your child's success and growth in Christian life and culture, and we need your active participation to make it happen.
As a dad of two, I understand the significance of nurturing a wholesome environment for our children. They watch and learn from us, each with their own unique perspectives and dreams.
Similarly, we want your children to thrive in all areas of life, with your engagement being a vital source of motivation and security. Your active role in their faith journey is even more crucial.
