I want to say a big thank you and congratulations to all of you for your amazing efforts in raising the funds for Phase II of the Legacy Project. Your dedication and support have been truly inspiring.
Completing fundraising for Phase II is a major milestone for St. Julie’s Parish. Through your selfless contributions and hard work in fundraising, we have reached our goal!
I am grateful for the incredible spirit of generosity within our parish. Your commitment to the growth and development of our church is a powerful example of your unwavering faith and love for God. Your kindness sets an extraordinary example for others to follow.
Take a moment to think about the impact your contributions will have on the lives of those who will benefit from the Legacy Project. Our church will provide a sanctuary, offering comfort, guidance, and support to all who seek it. None of this would have been possible without your support.

Prayer
God our Father, we praise you and give thanks for the blessings you have given our parish community. Help us keep the mission of Christ alive in our hearts as we work together for the future of our parish. May we grow as a faithful community inspired by one another, attentive to the gospel, and nourished by the Eucharist. Help us to offer with gratitude our time, talent and treasure as we celebrate our past, sustain our present while building our future.
Through the intercession of St. Julie Billiart, may we receive the grace to sacrifice today for the promise of tomorrow.
We pray all this in the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

In 2015, St. Julie Billiart completed Phase I of its Legacy Project by renovating the church interior. It is now launching Phase II of the project, which will focus on beautifying the exterior. It will include a plaza, children’s play area, and improved climate control. Father Ian Hagan has established a Fundraising Committee with the goal of raising $2 million in cash and pledges so that construction can begin.

WHERE WE WERE

PHASE I
Phase I of the St Julie’s 50th Anniversary Legacy Project consisted of the interior renovation, which began in April 2012 and was completed in October 2012. The first phase of the remodel made our sacred prayer space into the beautiful place it is today, thanks to the many generous donors, under the guidance of Father Paul Hruby and the Pastoral Council.

LEGACY PROJECT PHASE II
-
Phase II of the 50th Anniversary Legacy Project began in 2015 and was included in the 2018 Archdiocesan Called to Renew program for St Julie’s. This phase of the project was intended to create a welcoming environment that would inspire both parishioners and the surrounding community. The three major components of this phase of the project are the following:
- replacement of the church’s failing & obsolete 38 year old air conditioning and heating system
- exterior renovation, including a gathering plaza to bring elements of the interior renovation to the exterior
- children’s play area
St Julie’s Called to Renew campaign goal was $1.8M, which included the estimate for the renovation at $1.3M and an additional $515,000 that was raised for the Archdiocese programs. Thanks to the generosity of 256 parishioner families St Julie’s received pledges for the $1.8M and were able to fulfill the $515,000 commitment to the Archdiocese. St Julie’s has no remaining balance owed to the Archdiocese as part of the Called to Renew campaign.
